(1) When opening the account and changing the passbook without enough space in the passbook, another passbook will be given to the account holder free of charge.
(2) If the passbook is lost, torn or destroyed due to the carelessness of the account holder, he should apply to the postmaster for another passbook along with a five rupees fee. If such a request is received, the postmaster will provide him with another passbook.
(3) Due to the carelessness of the account holder, the post office will not be held responsible if someone brings his passbook and withdraws the signature payment amount or any other type of action is taken.
